NYC ASG is a space where adoptees can come to learn about adoption through a community of open sharing and understanding. The NYC ASG online platform is here to provide information and help guide you along your journey to discovering and understanding your own adoption story.

At the age of 24, I am just now beginning to explore my adoption. The reason why I have waited until now to do so is because until recently, I never felt ready. I know for many it takes a long time to feel comfortable addressing their past and I also know that for many, it's hard to know where to start. An adoption story is a unique story and it can feel isolating when your narrative is so different. As I am discovering my own sense of self and how this relates to my adoption, I wanted get to know other adoptee's journeys and paths of self discovery. I hope that this platform can be a place where adoptees can talk, relate, and share.
